Super busy week. Had some HR drama previously, and have been pushing to hit my weekly goals. Let's brag.
- Hit the 1800 calories mark every day, 6 meals, 180 oz H20.
- Planned out new lifting schedule 3x weekly
- Got new kicks and crushed cardio / abs
- Blasted a push set yesterday (all compound exercises: dips/bench/incl bench/mil.press)
- SUGAR INTAKE = Og = HOOJ WIN
It's been almost 3 weeks off, and my metabolism has reset to its former slacker level. Perfect. Time to shock it back into the red. Smaller, frequent meals, compound exercises (more muscles activated = higher metabolic boots; pullups > curls), loads of water, right amounts of calcium, vitamins, and sleep...all of these contribute to burning more calories as I sit here typing.
I'll probably end up adding a bit of muscle, but this is really an all-out assault on the gut. Happy to report that the gut has been losing the war over the past 5 years, but it hasn't quite given up, due to frequent reinforcement by its allies. But, as I've cut the supply chain off on Red Bull and Cookie Dough, it's only a matter of time.
on topic: the long & the short of it is that I haven't had the energy to get hands in after getting home at 7.30p (avg) and getting my shit done. I don't want to be sitting down at the tables at 10pm at night, post-workout and exhausted, and expect to A) play well and B) make it to work on time. So I watch a vid and pass out.
