Post Halloween Pain
Ugh. What an awesome weekend.
The poker lately, though, has been up & down.

What seems to be the problem here?!! Besides the fact that I logged my first hands at NL50, chasing a tilting fish, who paid me off, and loosened the rest of the table up, also paying me off. Nice. But I am still a losing player. AT 10NL!!!!
Going back over my hands, it looks like I'm either A) stupid (i.e. not paying enough attention because I'm 2- or 3-tabling) or B) falling prey to 'fancy play syndrome'
Even at NL50, the money come when you let people overplay their hands. Stop overplaying yours, Colin!

Looking back, I'm not sure what I think of this place. TAG-statted villain raises in the small blind. Standard play for AA in BB is to raise OOP in an attempt to isolate. I fall prey to Fancy Play Syndrome, and call to conceal the strength of my hand. He looks like he has AQ+, TT+. Unfortunately, a donk calls as well. I'm now in mid position for the flop....
...and it is wet as hell!! Villain cbets, I put him on a high pocket pair and push. Looks like a draw. Luckily villain2 folds, I hold up. I love my line heads=up. In the position I was, I'm not so sure

I finally remembered not to slowplay. Bet out at the flop, hoping to represent a PP. I get raised, which is what I want. Hate my push right there. Should have called and led on the flop. Still think I'm getting stacked here if he calls a turn bet...I might be able to lay down to a turn push.
